238: Your Soft Skills Are Mandatory for Doing Business

This week Daphne and Marta talk about one of Daphne’s favorite soapbox topics; the ‘soft skills’ of leadership. To make a distinction between transformational and transactional skills, leaders through the ages keep calling the transformational skills “soft”, which essentially makes them sound less relevant than the other necessary business and leadership skills. If you really want an organization that does more than just fulfill the requirements of the bottom-line, sourcing empathy and being able to listen are two of the many skills leaders must have.
