236: Why You Should Let Your Team Make Mistakes

We believe that the most challenging part for any leader is allowing mistakes to be made. Most company cultures don’t usually encourage, or even allow, mistakes to be made. But the reality is that if you want people to grow, you’ve got to let them learn. Of course, if you want them to learn, you’ve got to let them experiment, and that involves making mistakes.
Today, we’re going to talk about mistakes, why allowing mistakes is a really good thing for you and your company, and how to allow those mistakes in a way that will help you and your people. We’ll also discuss a few other things involving how to respond to mistakes and encouraging employees to be bold in their decisions, even if it involves making a mistake, so they can continue to learn and grow and be and do better.
