Have you found yourself worrying…and then worrying about how much you’re worrying? Well, worry no further. Katie and I explore the life of worry: Why do we do it? Is it inherited from our parents? What does it mean if you just think someone is capable of making good decisions and creating the life they want rather than worrying about them? Is worrying a sign of something we’re afraid to take action on? What does it have to do with the ABC’s? Is it a way to minimize ourselves? Is worrying just a habit that many of us have learned? And how does worrying show up in your body?
Katie walks us through a few physical movements to alleviate worry by interrupting the pattern. Hint: they involve getting in touch with your inner artist. Then she poses the question: “What would it be like to actually expand our capacity to enjoy life, to collaborate with others, to express our creativity more and more, to support others in expressing theirs?”
Finally, we look at how this unique response to fear can let us find the action that we may want to take…or not.
