Clock time is simply using time as a overlord-type controller. Granted, clocks are helpful, but they are a convention and can limit in supporting us in being productive as they kill productivity based on how we relate to it. With that said, here are five ways you can overcome “clock time” and stay motivated at work:

- Work in blocks of time
- Do everything in your power to minimize distractions
- Stop complaining about the lack of time or being distracted
